Our Organizational Development Team assists our internal departments, teams and leaders with creating effective organizations and managing change in the workplace through organizational development consulting. Services consist of consultation, coaching, design, delivery and facilitation of inclusive solutions that lead to increased organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and talent development.

We partner with leaders to engage in a learning and development process to improve their performance. We also accelerate the acclimation of new Vice Presidents, Deans, and Department Heads to the University’s culture and values.
We work with departments, committees, and teams to develop a change management plan to ensure successful implementation of a significant change for the organization or respective teams. We collaborate with teams and organizations to design, develop, and deliver a change management and leadership plan to respond to external or internal changes impacting the team or organization.
We work with leaders and teams to determine and realign philosophies and strategies to focus on service as a core value for the department.
We help groups identify key issues, and outline decisions or action plans needed to address those issues.
We work with team to assess knowledge, values, and skills gaps, then design customized training to meet those needs. Finally, we train members of your team on how to implement and facilitate the session for your group to build the capacity of the team to be independent and self-actualized.
We apply tools such as interviews, focus groups, surveys, and assessments to identify and address key issues and opportunities for improving your organization’s team or department.
We assist teams in working more effectively together. This includes an assessment of your team’s strengths and weaknesses as well as, customized training to meet your specific needs. We deploy appropriate assessment tools with a focus on purpose, structure, tasks, norms, and competencies that align with strategic direction of the organization.
We assist leaders in the development of a vision, mission, goals, and an action plan to achieve the desired future.
We work with leaders in determining their personal leadership style in order to help them improve their ability to be transformational. Additionally, we apply exemplary inclusive leadership and management practices and tools that enable their people and organization to achieve their goals in support of the University’s culture and values.
A retreat is a meeting that is typically designed and organized specifically to facilitate the ability of a group to step back from their day-to-day demands and focus on strategic, team building, and related matters. We partner with managers and teams in focusing their efforts to optimize expected objectives and results through designing, facilitating and evaluating expected outcomes for the retreat. Retreat deliverables include design and facilitation, summary documents and follow-up meetings.
