Crucial Conversations

Crucial Conversations provides leaders with skills for creating alignment and agreement by fostering open dialogue around high-stakes, emotional, or risky topics. By learning how to speak and be heard (and encouraging others to do the same), leaders will surface the best ideas, make the highest-quality decisions, and then act on their decisions with unity and commitment.

Duration of Program: 2 Days (Days are one week apart)
Who Should Attend: People leaders with at least one direct report
By attending Crucial Conversations, you will be ready to:
  • Use the tools you are given in the course to build alignment, agreement, and interpersonal communication
  • Engage in difficult conversations with greater confidence, maintain effective control of the emotions in play, and make conscious decisions about the best verbal and non-verbal choices to make
  • Act with integrity, demonstrate empathy, and maintain relationships
  • Refine the impact of regular, ongoing coaching and feedback on driving employee performance
